The development towards excessive party tourism is having an increasingly negative impact on the quality of life of the population, the staff as well as on the holiday experience of many guests. There is no doubt that guests want to have fun and enjoy themselves on their holidays. However, the way this is now happening in St. Anton – especially in the winter season – has gone beyond any healthy level.

Good reasons why travelling by train is worthwhile:

• You can travel directly to St. Anton by train. St. Anton has its own railway station with international connections. There are daily direct connections from Hamburg, Hanover, Munich and other cities. 
• This is exclusive! The St. Anton railway station is located right in the middle of the town, amidst „Quality Host“ accommodations.
• Travelling by train is comfortable and easy! The Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) and
  Deutsche Bahn (DB) provide luggage transfer directly to your chosen accommodation.
• Train journeys are „weather-resistant“ - delays due to snow-covered roads and ice are rare.
• The vacation begins with the journey! During the train ride, you can enjoy quality time with your travelling buddies, or make the most of the peace and quiet (on your own) by planning your holiday and arriving relaxed. 
• Travelling by train is safe and guaranteed.

• This allows you to gain up to two additional holiday days on the slopes! Plan train times wisely.
• Car-free made easy! Our excellent infrastructure in the village, with numerous free ski buses, makes using a car unnecessary. 
• Additionally, you are actively holidaying in a more environmentally friendly and considerate way! Less travelling via cars contributes significantly to climate protection which in turn helps to preserve what we love our beautiful mountains and Alpen nature!
