Quality Hosts Arlberg Packages 16

At Arlmont in St. Anton, the past and the present come together, to create an exciting modern feel that preserves Alpine traditions, while at the same time, sparking innovation through creative individuality. Concrete, wood and other natural materials are used to reflect the beauty of the surrounding landscape. At Arlmont, these reflections are uniquely visualized in a playful, yet sophisticated fashion, combining iconic modernist furnishings, warm colors and leading-edge, eco-friendly, contemporary materials to create a stylish and modern concept of casual living.

Strikingly contemporary

The Arlmont has neither a pitched roof, nor carved wooden balconies. But all the same it is tailor-made for this place. With its flat roof, elegant, gently rounded form and pure materiality, the Arlmont is the complete opposite of a traditional Tyrolean house with pointed gable windows. The unconventional shape of the building, allows sunshine to illuminate all rooms- all day long.

Concrete and glass

The primary structure of the Arlmont Hotel is made of concrete and glass. Both materials can be found in all areas of the hotel. The soffits of the balconies are clad with OSB panels as thermal insulation; their „wooden“ surface structure is continued internally on the ceilings, as here the concrete was poured in formwork made of OSB panel that have left their characteristic mark on the surface.

We are committed to improving our environmental performance, by using sustainable practices in our hotel. We want to reduce environmental impacts through reduced energy consumption and through renewable sources of energy. We have installed a wood fuel biomass heat solution. Wood is locally sourced and chipped in the forests of the Arlberg Region. The electricity is generated from our newly built 20kWp photovoltaic system on our roof and from the nearby Kartell/Verwall Hydroelectricity Power Plant, where the energy present in the movement of water, is used to generate electricity. Our high performance, triple glazed insulated windows are among the most thermally efficient window solutions on the market. Furthermore, triple glazing improves the energy performance of windows, saving energy and reducing our carbon footprint at the same time, helping the environment.
